Yes, it's a while ago, but this place warrants a mention. As I said elsewhere I'm quite fussy with my Indian dinners, so the fact I ate here thrice in six days says something. Indeed, if I remember rightly I went two days running.
Though it looks pretty ropey from the outside, the food and service are top notch, and remarkably cheap. It's over a year ago so I can't remember the exact details, but a main course (I think it was a hot channa balti on all three visits) and garlic naan were all I need to be completely satisfied (and I can eat, believe me).
Proper Balti (not just a sauce with the name attached as found in so many other establishments) with the flavours seared into the sauce.
Highly recommended if you're in town.
